I'm feeling somewhat stressed out today. What with work, relationships, friendships, and keeping body and soul together, as well as feeding the beasts of society and government, it's all I can do to get the requisite amount of sleep each night, let alone to have an interesting, scintillating, expansive life. The net result is stress. I tend to feel that in my body as a gripping sensation in my forehead, and an overall sense of shakiness. Wouldn't wish it on an enemy.

I screwed up in a big way today—salvageable, but very embarrassing—and I've been carrying this knot in my throat ever since. It's really funny...ever since I was a little girl, whenever I got in trouble, or even whenever I worried I might get in trouble, I get that same knot in the back of my throat, and a hot feeling in my face. I guess that's what anxiety feels like when you're eager to please!

I screwed up yesterday, Lindsay—not in a big way, but in a way that materially inconvenienced someone. My shame/anxiety definitely dwells in my chest much more than in my throat. I get a really full, heavy feeling there, like I'm filling up with cold water. I find it fascinating that our bodies can carry similar experiences so differently.

I didn't get much sleep last night, worrying about something related to work. I want to speak my mind in no uncertain terms - to be very direct, even blunt. There will be conflict when this happens. My jaw is tight, and there is a sensation of a lump in the throat, of constriction.

Found out my man cheated on me 2 days ago. Have massive pain in my stomach and haven't been able to eat since that moment

De-stressing by concentrating on the in-and-out movements of the 'Kegel' muscles as I breathe. Expanding out on the in-breath, in and up on the out-breath. Flaring the nostrils also helps to become aware of this 'full body breath'.

Oh my body is aching with love. Just being awake, experiencing what ever that is right now, makes my whole body tremble and shiver with happiness. There's a drum in my belly; it vibrates AAUUUM. There's a bell on my every finger; they sing tinger-liger tinger-linger tinger-linger tinger-linger. There's a voice in my heart; it tells me to keep loving. My body is my feeling, it's the feeling of embodiment!

I have a mild hangover. My eyes don't want to stay open and I have a mild headache. Sleeping awkwardly has caused my back to be a series of uncomfortable knots. Also, my left knee hurts but that is not booze related.

I'm feeling like a mountain range that has a wild fire going on it over a huge amount but it's about 95% contained and this kind of stuff is necessary to proper regrowth and at the bottom of the valley there's a river and I'm in a deep, fast moving section. Shallow rocky rapids are ahead but I've been through them many times before. My heart feels like it's beating a little faster than usual and the only way I can describe how this makes me feel is like when I look up in the sky on a cloudless night and it's full of stars and I can see bright spiral arms of our galaxy. Alert but very tranquil.
